Baby Zane

This little dude's mommy is one of my bunco buddies. I met her about a year ago through our mom's group and she is just one of the sweetest people I know. It was at an Easter egg hunt that we set up a newborn shoot for the new man in her life.
Baby Zane is exactly two weeks new in these photos. He was so incredibly sweet and sleepy (and hungry) for the shoot, it was perfect. We ended up having the session at my house, I cleared a space in my dining room - which had surprisingly good light - and setup my "newborn" station. Colin wasn't crazy about me taking pictures of a baby that wasn't him so our shoot took a little longer than planned, but it was worth it.
Although I didn't get all of the poses I wanted to do, I will admit that posing newborns is a lot harder than it looks. I mean they don't really cooperate and they're very floppy. That being said practice makes perfect and for this being my second newborn shoot, I have really high hopes for the soon to be born babies I have on my schedule!
